The expansion features natural lighting achieved through the use of skylights and full height exterior windows. The balance of light essentially removes the need for artificial lighting for many classroom activities. The expansion includes a new media center expansion, general sciences room, art room, three additional classrooms, fire alarm system upgrades, and a new fire sprinkler system.
